Sliders 13u Mendenhall Win Championship at GameTime Tourney

Sliders 13u Mendenhall traveled this past weekend to St. Louis to play in the May Slugfest put on by GameTime Tournaments. The tournament was held in Fenton and the team went 3-1 on the weekend, securing the Silver Bracket Championship. Ryker Cravens blasted over the fence for the Sliders on their way to the Championship.


Members of the Sliders 13u Mendenhall team are Cayden Bednarik, Kyle Bock, William Bradley, Ryker Cravens, Corrin Fox, Wyatt Holmquist, Kaiden Kepo’o, Jacob Marts, Cash Mendenhall, Levi Parker, Evan Ransom and Kain Soisson. They are coached by Head Coach Dan Mendenhall and Assistant Coach Sam Parker.


The Sliders 11u Davis also went to the St. Louis area and competed in the Game7 Cinco De Mayo tournament that was held in the O-Fallon area. The Squad finished the weekend 3-1.


Joe Meyer was selected for the Game7 showcase. Each week, players grind for the opportunity to earn a spot in these showcases, all leading up to the big end-of-summer event. The best of the best come together to compete in skills events like pop times, base running, and a home run derby, before being randomly placed on teams for a tournament-style showdown.

Members of the Sliders 11u Davis team include Tel Chancey, Braxton Cravens, Barrett Davis, Karson Field, Ryker Howard, Bentley Raines, Ethan Mayo, Joseph Meyer, August Rhodes, Bryson Ross, Hayden Rowell and Alexander Smith. They are coache by Head Coach Ryan Davis and Assistant Coaches Adam Smith and Devante Mayo.
