Bulldog Baseball 12u Captures Second Place at Game7 World Series

The Game7 World Series in Warrenton, Mo had a little bit of everything for the players, coaches and fans. Rainy weather, dominant games, stolen bases galore, a dramatic come from behind win, and heartbreaking losses.
In all it was 3 days of growth for the Bulldog Baseball 12u team as they finished the tournament with a 4-2 record and a 2nd place finish. Throw on top of that Miles White and Teytin Richards were each chosen as an MVP by the officials during two pool play games, it was a successful weekend for all.
Players on the Bulldog Baseball 12u roster include: #33 Chase Anderson, #7 Taye Davidson, #21 Clay Engelke, #13 Ryker Furse, #46 Frank Girondo, #4 Eli Manley, #11 Teytin Richards, #2 Hank Voigt, #5 Merek White, #12 Miles White, and #10 AJ Williams.
The team is coached by Brody Richards assisted by Dre White, Nick Girondo, and Mike Williams.

Bulldog Baseball 12U Impressive In Win Against Mid-Mo Express 12U
In the opening round of the Game 7 tournament, Bulldog Baseball 12U took down Mid-Mo Express, 10-1 on Wednesday at Warrenton Athletic Complex.
The Bulldogs got on the board first in the top of the 2nd on RBIs from AJ Williams and Hank Voigt to take a 2-0 lead.

In the next inning the Bulldogs put the game out of reach with four runs on RBI singles by Merek White, Eli Manley, and Frank Girondo.
Williams recorded the win for the Bulldogs throwing a no-hitter over 4 innings giving up 1 unearned run. Williams struck out 4 and walked two. Manley closed out the final scoreless inning allowing one hit.
Merek and Eli led the Bulldogs in hitting with each getting 2 hits. Girondo led the team with 3 RBIs. As a team, they stole 16 bases.
Bulldogs fall to the Rawlings Tigers, 4-8
While the Bulldogs were able to take an early lead from an RBI single by Merek White in the first, that would be their only lead of the game. The Rawlings Tigers - Clemens answered in their bottom half of the opening inning scoring 2 runs to take a 2-1 lead.
The Bulldogs were able to tie the game in the next inning but once again, the Tigers answered with two more runs in the bottom of the second and would hold on for the 8-4 win.
Merek White had 2 RBIS going 2-for-2 in the game. Teytin Richards stole two bases in the contest.
Merek’s White Walk-Off Single Gives Bulldogs 10-9 Win Over US Nationals - MidAm 12U

The Bulldogs started off Thursday play with some excitement as they had to overcome a 9-5 deficit in the final inning to get the win.
The Bulldogs dug themselves an early hole trailing 4-0 in the third inning. But the resilient Bulldogs were not going to rollover expecting a treat, these Bulldogs have bite!
The Bulldogs had a huge bottom of the third and put up five runs on three hits to take the 5-4 lead. Girondo had a quality at-bat showing patience and connecting with a two run single.
The US Nationals - MidAm responded with their own five run inning in the top of the 5th to take control of the game. Sitting on a 9-5 lead in the final inning, the US Nationals were three outs away from victory.
The Nationals were able to sit down the first two batters leaving the Bulldogs with only one out to work with to get four runs to tie and five to win.
Once again, the Bulldogs had an answer.
Davidson becomes the first baserunner of the 5th inning when he is hit by a pitch. A balk followed by a stolen base puts Davidson in scoring position at third base. Another balk by the pitcher brings Davidson home and one run closer.
Ryker Furse gets on base with a walk. Voigt singles advancing Furse to second with the potential tying run coming to the plate. Richards walks on three straight pitches loading the bases, trailing 6 to 9 with two outs.
Enter the M&M show…. Miles White attacks the second pitch he sees to hit a line drive to right field scoring two and putting Richards on third base, closing the gap to 1 run.
Merek White, the other “M” in the M&M Show, comes to the plate. Like his brother, Merek decides to also attack his second pitch hitting a single towards short, scoring Richards and allowing Miles to come on the throw for the victory.
Merek earned the win coming in relief, surrendering no hits or runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking two.
Girondo and Voigt each had two hits. Girondo, Miles, Merek, and Davidson each had two RBIs while Richardson stole two bases.
Bulldogs Shut-out Bullpen 12U, 6-0
There was no slow start for the Bulldogs in their second game on Thursday. They put up a four run first inning thanks to RBIs by Merek White, Girondo, and Taye Davidson.
Clay Engelke was on the mound and got the win with a two hit shutout over three and a third innings, striking out five and walking one.
Richards led the Bulldogs going 2-for-3 at the plate. Miles White led the offense with two RBIs as he went 1-for-3 on the day. The team was off the leash on the basepaths as they stole 10 bases in the game.
Bulldogs with 9-3 win over Rawlings Tigers - 12U
The Bulldogs started off strong with RBI singles from Merek White, Girondo, and Davidson while Manley powered a triple down the right field line for an RBI.
Engelke recorded the win allowing three hits and three runs over three innings. He fanned seven and walked three.
Merek White went 1-for-3 with 3 RBIs. Girondo and Davidson each had two hits for the Bulldogs. As a team, the Bulldogs stole 10 bases with Merek W., Richards, and Davidson each collecting multiple stolen bases.
Bulldog Baseball Falls to Rawlings Tigers Wheeler in Game7 World Series Championship
After three long days of games, the Bulldogs offense lost some steam as they fell 7-2 to Rawlings Tigers Wheeler on Friday in the Championship Game.
The Bulldogs once again struck first on a Merek White ground out, giving them a 1-0 lead in the first. But the Tigers responded quickly in their half of the first, scoring two runs and giving them a 2-0 lead that they would not surrender.
Against dominant pitching by the Tigers, Miles White, Manley, and Furse each were able to get a hit while Merek White and Furse drove in the two runs.
