Dawson Caldwell Finishes with Medalist Honors in Soggy Home Match

Despite the wet conditions for the Dawg Squad at home on Tuesday versus Camdenton, junior Dawson Caldwell came away with top honors.

Junior Dawson Caldwell was the Medalist at the last home match.

It was a cold and wet spring day as the Bulldogs hosted the Camdenton Lakers at Oak Meadow in the final rounds of the regular season before district play begins.

While the conditions may not have been favorable, junior Dawson Caldwell did not let that stop his performance. Caldwell shot a +3, 37 in the 9 holes to lead all golfers and walk away with the medalist for the day.

Districts are Next

The Bulldogs will be making the long drive to Carl Junction on Monday the 11th for Class 4 District 3 play. They will be playing at the Par 72 Briarwood Golf Course. There are 15 teams in the Southwest district with opportunities for the Bulldogs to reach as a Team and as Individuals.

The top two team finishers will advance to the State Playoffs. The top 13 players that are not part of the two advancing teams will advance to the State Championship as well.
