Cameron Martensen Breaks Another School Record at the RunningLane Kansas City Relays

Senior Cameron Martenson already owns many of the Rolla High School distance records. As a competitor who seeks to compete against top national runners, he often travels to larger meets to compete individually.
On Saturday the 17th, the Grand Valley State signee headed up to Kansas City to participate in the RunningLane Kansas City Relays, one of the premier school events in the Midwest.
Martensen participated in a single event - the Jim Ryun Men’s Mile - against 123 other runners.
Cameron broke his own school record by running a time of 4:14.73, placing him 13th at the event and ranking him as #86 in the nation.
Brian Burns a senior from Bentonville, Ar won the event with a time of 4:06.06 ranking him #4 nationally.
Martensen holds the school records for the 1600m, 1800m and the 5k for Cross Country.
