Bulldog Track Closes Out the Regular Season at Hillsboro Invite

The Girls and Boys Bulldog Track teams finished up their regular season at the Hillsboro Invite last Thursday. The focus on the team right now is to prepare for the upcoming district championship on Saturday at Parkview High School in Springfield.
At the recent Hillsboro Invite, the Boys team came in 4th out of 20 teams recording 7 silver medals. A total of 26 PRs were set by the Boys and Girls teams.
The Boys 4x200m and 4x400m Relays brought home silver at the event. The 200m time is 0.3s away from the school record.
Freshman Allyah Anderson beat her PR by 3 meters in the Girls Discuss.
Sophomore Cruz Wilkins brought home a 3rd medal as he won silver in the 400m as well as being part of the two relays.
The Bulldogs had 3 events where they finished inside the top 50 in the State on the year. The Boys 4x400 relay posted the 21st fastest time in the State, Cameron Martensen has the 8th best time in 1600m, and Tucker Sowers came in with the 33rd best throw in the Shot Put.
