Bulldog Golf finishes 2nd at Bolivar Invitational

Coach Nixon and his Bulldog Squad finishes 2nd at Bolviar.

Monday found the Bulldogs Golf Team back in southwest Missouri at the Silo Ridge Golf Course for the Bolivar Invitational.

Sr. Chancen Jordan finishes 2nd overall with a 3 under par 69.

The Bulldogs finished 2nd overall in the 19 team field led by Missouri Western signee Chancen Jordan. The senior was dialed in as he shot a 3 under par 69 to place 2nd individually.

On a day where most of the teams put up much higher scores than they did over the weekend at the MSU Relays, the Bulldogs were the lone squad to improve their overall score. Junior Dawson Caldwell shot a 76 followed by sophomore Canter Bahr with a 77 and freshman Wilson Giacomell with a 79.

The Bulldogs finished the day tied for 2nd at 301 with former Ozark Conference rival, the Glendale Falcons. The tiebreaker came down to the scorecard of your 5th team member and it was Waylan Chapman’s 84 that gave the Bulldogs 2nd place.
