Salem Takes 4th at Houston Volleyball Tournament
October 7th, 2026
On Monday, October 5th, the Salem Lady Tigers volleyball team headed to Houston to participate in the Houston Tourney. It was a day of ups and down for the Lady Tigers, as they finished 4th at the tournament, walking away with 2 wins, 2 losses and 2 ties.
Getting the win over the host, Houston Lady Tigers, in the Semifinals was a big plus for Salem. While there were a lot of positive takeaways, from the day, there were also some areas that need to be solidified as they prepare for district play.
During the tournament, the Lady Tigers recorded their first win, which surpasses the win total of last season (2025-26 Record: 11-22-1) which was another Brick that they collected.
