New regional sports media platform will expand coverage of Rolla, Salem, and St. James beginning with the 2026–27 school year
ROLLA, MO — August 2026 — What began as RoMoAthletics, a local sports platform created to provide greater coverage of Rolla-area athletes and teams, is entering its next chapter.
Beginning with the 2026–27 school year, RoMoAthletics will transition to MoHuddle Media, expanding its coverage and mission to serve sports communities throughout the region.
The new MoHuddle Media will provide coverage of high school and community sports in Rolla, Salem, and St. James, with plans to continue expanding its programming and content creation throughout the region.
The new brand will operate under the tagline:
MoHuddle Media — Your Hometown Sports Source.
The change reflects how much the original vision has grown.
“When RoMoAthletics began, the goal was simple: give local athletes, coaches and teams the coverage they deserve,” said Tom Brown, founder of MoHuddle Media. “That mission hasn't changed. In fact, it has become even more important. What has changed is the opportunity to take that mission beyond one community.”
Brown said the new platform will focus not only on reporting scores and results, but on telling the stories behind the teams and the people who make local sports communities special.
Local Teams. Real Stories. Stronger Together.
One of the first major expansions will be the continued growth of Inside the Huddle, the interview-based sports program featuring coaches and athletes. New editions of Inside the Huddle will be introduced for St. James and Salem as part of the initial expansion, with additional communities and sports programming to follow.
MoHuddle Media will also expand its content creation capabilities, including sports reporting, interviews, photography, video and other digital content designed to give local athletes, teams and communities greater visibility.
MoHuddle Media is establishing a Content Creator program with local students who are interested in gaining opportunity to learn and grow their craft, while having an avenue to showcase their talent and grow their personal portfolio.
A redesigned MoHuddle Media website is currently being developed and will launch in the coming weeks. The new site will provide a central home for sports coverage from throughout the region and make it easier for fans to find the teams, athletes and stories that matter to them.
“This isn't simply a new name and a new website,” Brown said. “It's an opportunity to build something that belongs to all of the communities we serve. Every community has a story. Every team has a story. Every athlete has a story. We want to help tell those stories.”
As the expansion begins, MoHuddle Media is also seeking community and regional partners who want to help strengthen local sports coverage.
Businesses and organizations interested in supporting the effort will have opportunities to connect their brands with sports fans and families throughout the region while helping provide greater visibility and support for local teams, athletes and communities.
“We believe local businesses can play an important role in helping build stronger sports communities,” Brown said. “We're looking for partners who don't just want advertising. We're looking for organizations that want to be part of something that makes a positive impact in the communities they serve.”
The transition to MoHuddle Media will begin immediately, with expanded programming rolling out throughout the weeks leading into the 2026–27 school year.
More information about the new MoHuddle Media platform, its community coverage and partnership opportunities will be announced in the coming weeks.
