Pair of Lady Bulldogs Bring Home Gold at Run 4 the Roses

MoFlight 16u wins the Blue Platinum Division of the Run 4 the Roses.

The Run 4 the Roses is billed as the largest girls basketball tournament in the Nation. This NCAA certified event is held in Louisville, Ky where they use 80+ courts to host this event. Rolla Lady Bulldog juniors, Madison Hutton and Chloe Caffey, helped their Club Team the MoFlight out of Springfield, Mo bring home the Championship in the Blue Platinum Division.

The MoFlight is made up of girls from Southwest Missouri. Along with Hutton and Caffey, there are girls who play their high school ball at Kickapoo, Springfield Catholic, Republic, Greenfield, Skyline, Nixa and Ozark.

The MoFlight went 5-0 for the weekend and took down the Illinois Bears in the championship game, 47 to 43. They went 2-0 in pool play moving them into the Platinum Division bracket. Teams not qualifiying for the Platinum bracket played in either the Gold or Silver bracket.
