Bulldog Golf Team Finishes 7th at Laker Invitational

Lake Valley Golf Club was the site of this years Laker Invitational where the Bulldogs finished 7th.

It was a competitive field at the Laker Invitational held Wednesday the 15th at Lake Valley Golf Club in Camdenton. The Par 72 course is balanced with six each of par threes, par fours and par fives.

The Bulldogs placed 7th out of 22 teams with junior Dawson Caldwell leading the Bulldog charge with a 4 over par 76 placing him at 23rd overall followed by sophomore Canter Bahr who shot a 77 good enough for 26th.

Dawson was 4 over through 5 but rallied to  play even over the final 12 holes. Coach Zack Nixon asked him about locking in after that rough start. “My mental state got to me. I was upset  through a few holes. From there I got something rolling, built on it and made a couple of birdies.”
